There was an armed robbery and the perpetrator was suspected of wearing latex gloves and disposing of them. Fortunately, the pair of gloves was discovered in a related vehicle. They were swabbed, but they couldn't retrieve sufficient DNA to link the suspect to them. They tried sampling the gloves again, this time with the M-Vac™, sampling the entire gloves, including the roll at the top of the gloves where the culprit pulled them on. This time they got a full profile of the suspect and the case was able to move forward.
